Why I'm Running
Get To Know Me
Hello, my name is Todd DeVries. I am a social worker, mental health counselor, and an educator dedicated to strengthening communities across Eastern Idaho. My work with individuals facing physical, intellectual, sensory, and mental health challenges has shaped my belief that dignity, resilience, and opportunity should be available to everyone. I am running to make Idaho more affordable and to restore the promise that hard work and initiative lead to upward mobility. Today, too many families are held back by rising costs and policies that favor wealth and corporate interests. I will fight for practical solutions that lower the cost of living, expand opportunity, and ensure economic growth benefits all--not just a few. I am blind and bring both professional expertise and lived experience to my commitment to accessible, inclusive communities.
Where I Stand On
The Issues
We fight for better health care, improved education, and an economy that works for all, not just for those who already have enough.1. Devend and enhance Medicaid Expansion. Idaho needs a bbuy-in for those people reaching the income limits for their coverage.2. Education. Repeal the Education voucher Ponzi scheme and make teaching kids a priority.3. Tax reform that doesn't favor weath, power and corporate interests.
